Kforce Associate Test Technician in Phoenix, Arizona

Kforce has a client in search of an Associate Test Technician in Phoenix, Arizona (AZ). Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies

  • Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods

  • Documents test results

  • Receives pass down from prior shift operator to verify test process currently running and ensures accuracy prior to taking over the test process; Provide the same support information to incoming shifts

  • Conducts routine and repetitive tests on circuits, components, and electronic units using established test procedures

  • Interprets schematics and work instructions to connect test equipment

  • Dispositions product depending on test results; May require interpretation of test results

  • Reads and interprets manufacturing routers and documents production results on appropriate forms

  • Interface with Engineers and Program Managers

  • Follows instructions per Lead Operator

  • Under limited supervision

  • May occasionally be required to work overtime

  • Other duties may be assigned

  • Experience in manufacturing environment and/or recent prior military electronics experience

  • Prior experience with mechanical and electrical operation of test equipment

  • Prior experience reading and interpreting specs (blueprints, schematics etc.)

  • Computer literacy a must

  • Good communication skills

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks concurrently. Operate and multi-task between 2 to 3 electronic test machines
