The OED Manager role supports the development and execution of our Enterprise Talent Planning strategy and approach. This leader oversees a team of consultants in support of our talent review, succession planning, pipeline development and talent agent process; the Mentoring at Wells Fargo strategy & governance, including the enterprise mentoring program design and execution; and the experience based development strategy and implementation. Additionally, this role will be a key contributor to ensure we source and match our top talent to development opportunities and help managers’ foster transparency through career development conversations on an ongoing basis.

Works in partnership with peers including the International Talent Strategy team, Executive Recruiting, HRBP, HRCP, TDOE, D&I office, and business leaders to ensure an efficient and effective end-to-end talent planning experience. As the HR Model evolves, we expect our team strategy and approach to evolve as well.

This position reports to the Head of Enterprise Talent Planning and is aligned to the WIM and EF&IT lines of business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Talent & Succession Partner – Partner with stakeholders to facilitate succession planning and top talent development. Partner with HRBP and business leaders to increase top talent retention, mobility and bench strength. Support the talent mobility talent sourcing and matching strategies.

  • Mentoring – Oversee the mentoring strategy and governance. Implement enterprise mentoring programs and the self-directed mentoring platform.

  • Experience Based Development – lead the design and implementation of a robust experience based development strategy.

  • Talent Administrator – In partnership with peers, lead the administration of talent planning initiatives, partner appropriately with measurement and analytics partners to evaluate and analyze talent outcomes.

  • Brand Manager - Enhance the Enterprise Talent Planning brand through strong partnerships, effective communication practices, inclusive strategies, and influence management.

As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:

  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.

  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of human resources experience

  • 4+ years of organizational effectiveness experience (includes talent management, leadership development, culture assessment)

Desired Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of leadership experience

  • Change management experience

  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas

  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment

  • Ability to manage large scale program initiatives in a complex environment

  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members

  • Knowledge and understanding of human resources analytics and reporting

  • Strong strategic planning skills

  • Diversity and inclusion consulting experience

  • Global organizational effectiveness consulting experience

  • Experience designing and delivering talent strategies and initiatives, including but not limited to mentoring

  • Knowledge and understanding of business drivers and talent implications

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
