Position OverviewThe purpose of QA tester is to provide the means and also the measures for testing all the aspects of a software solution, both functionally and technically, in order to meet the requirements and overall quality of the intended solution. Responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with internal and/or external systems.Job Responsibilities• Test software to ensure products meet design specifications and functionality requested by users• Work closely with our development and project management teams in completion of projects, and requirements that will introduce new features and functionality to all our applications• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases and test plans• Report, track, and monitor defects• Work with end users in customer acceptance testing, walking them through the acceptance process• Look at returned (handled) error codes and suggest user-friendly language• Find and suggest tools to help with automating the testing process and making the testing more effective and efficient• Verify software defect fixesJob Requirements• Excellent documentation skills.• Strong sense of customer commitment, loyalty, and urgency.• Excellent work ethic, professionalism, attention to detail, ability to work in a highly collaborative, collegial, and multidisciplinary team environment.• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage time, priorities, and requests.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Bachelor's degree in related field an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferredPhysical Demands and Working ConditionsThe physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential function to this job.
