The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing internal, full-service digital marketing group that handles email marketing, website and mobile content development and maintenance, coding and design. This position will be the subject matter expert on customer email campaigns for SRP that promote our services, encourage enrollments and strengthen our relationship with customers.

Working with internal stakeholders, data specialists and a creative team, you will manage the customer email process from start to finish. You also will share responsibility for digital marketing strategy and tactical promotion of SRP products and services online.

Job Brief

This position will be the subject matter expert on customer email campaigns for SRP that promote our services, encourage enrollments and strengthen our relationship with customers.

Working with internal stakeholders, data specialists and a creative team, this position will manage the customer email process from start to finish. The chosen candidate will share responsibility for digital marketing strategy and tactical promotion of SRP products and services online.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Outstanding interpersonal and marketing copywriting skills

  • Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Understanding of SEO, SEM, basic HTML

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Outstanding attention to detail

Job Responsibilities

  • Write, test and launch email campaigns that include automated journeys, seasonal promotions and targeted sends to drive enrollments and foster brand loyalty.

  • Lead implementation of a new email platform and configure settings for optimal use.

  • Work with internal marketing partners to establish KPIs and determine success of campaigns.

  • Analyze email campaign data, provide recommendations.

  • Write and post web page content.

  • Interpret analytics to make recommendations and tactical changes to improve conversion rates.

  • Manage and monitor SEO and SEM for assigned programs.

Education

Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.

Experience

The ideal candidate must have a broad understanding of the digital space, be expert at using technology, an ability to work well in teams and have digital marketing savvy.

  • 5 years professional experience, with two to four years’ experience in digital marketing

  • Prior heavy use of an enterprise-level email platform, preferably Adobe Campaign or Salesforce Exact Target and email marketing experience.

  • Prior experience with analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics

  • Experience with a content management system and Dreamweaver preferred

Promotion to level 2 requires a minimum of two years experience at level 1; demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to senior level requires a minimum of three years experience at level 2; is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities. Senior level requires 5 years experience as a professional communicator including 3 years experience in online or print publishing for a web site, newspaper, magazine, business publication or in corporate communications.

Additional Information

The strategist must be highly collaborative, able to work in teams, contribute to brainstorming sessions and lead projects across departments. They will work efficiently and creatively to balance deadline needs with creative objectives.
