About The Job

This job is a member of the Finance Team within the Finance Division. This position will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of assigned employee payroll checks including collection, review, input, edit, output and verification of payroll data.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent or equivalent training/experience

  • 5 years of working in a high volume, multi-state payroll department

  • 7 years of business experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher preferred

  • Prior Canadian Payroll experience a plus

  • Familiarity with accounting principles relating to funds disbursements, payroll tax statutory requirements and payment regulations

  • Familiarity with garnishment processing

  • Use of analytical skills to identify and address potential issues

  • Ability to explain and interpret complex payroll information to employees at all levels of the organization
