Microchip Technology NCG Device Characterization Engineer - Tempe in Tempe, Arizona


The Device Modeling and Technology Characterization Group within Microchip 's Tempe location has a position for a recent New College Graduate - Device Characterization Engineer to join our team to help characterize new technologies for the team to develop compact device models. This individual will perform characterization of electrical devices, provides technical support for electrical test equipment and software, assist in the development of new test code and document procedures.


Essential Skills:

  • An understanding of semiconductor device fundamentals

  • Experience with electrical device characteristics and measurements (IV/CV for MOSFETS and passive devices)

  • Experience with device analyzers such as HP4156/B1500/etc.

  • Knowledge of VBA and perl is a plus

  • Clear and concise documentation skills

  • Excellent problem solving skills
