WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Transportation Project Manager for our Tempe, Arizona office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage multi-million-dollar Design Build transportation and/or rail projects to deliver technical excellence and quality work in accordance with project schedules and budgets. Minor travel is required.

  • Manage staff and activities for a project of significant size and complexity and develop staffing plans and schedules to meet task requirements

  • Perform marketing and networking activities to develop and maintain strong client relationships, expand work, assist with developing strategic teaming partners.

  • Mentoring and developing technical capabilities of mid-level and junior staff

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

  • Minimum of 15 overall years of experience

  • Minimum 10 years of management experience in the railroad and/or transit industry

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships

  • Quality Control / Quality Assurance experience

  • Demonstrated team building and verbal/oral skills

  • Computer literate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Alternative delivery experience

  • Light rail design, program management and/ or construction management experience
